Brief: Full house refurbishment and side return

We inherited this project post planning. The approved planning design had fixed certain elements but there was still a lot of the design to resolve. Namely the fully glazed roof and scope of the prefabricated rear and courtyard facades.

The real value we added to this project was our pragmatic approach to detail design which lead the client towards using a less bespoke glazed roof system and facade system. Both of these design decision saved the client considerable money which would be used on other project elements. We inherited the rear facade design based on a that of a company called ‘CAB’ who prefabricate wooden doors and window off site and deliver the whole elements to site.
